Who arrived into this world at 0415 this morning weighing a whopping 9lbs 10oz!

Will email you birth story when we are home and settled but sort of quick summary – it did end up in theatre very close to an emergency section but they managed to get him out with forceps so I did achieve my VBAC! He was back to back and sunny side up like his big sister! I got to 8cm without pain relief and very proud of that and my choice for an epidural was a very calm thought out one. I wanted him to arrive with me feeling as peaceful as possible and I can certainly say that was achieved despite the bright theatre lights! The staff at UCH were amazing and so supportive of hypnobirthing, even having leaflets in delivery rooms on how to talk to hypnobirthing mums and what language to use.

I felt very supported and in control and used breathing, affirmations, music, scent.
