A beautiful morning of mindful retreating into Autumn time…. honoured with a cobbled together reel as I can’t be present AND capture images and the feel of such a morning 😂

Slowing things r i g h t down we reflected on the themes of autumn, we mindfully drank hibiscus tea, practiced pranayama and sank into a synthesised yin and Sound session.

Binaural beats, tuning forks, crystal and metal bowls swirled around and within bodies easing into fascia and stretches before settling into shivasana with gongs, chimes and percussion.

Cake, sweet treats and local spring water awaited our emergence before we re-entered the world ready to welcome Autumn 🍂

🍁 THE SEASON OF LETTING GO 🍁

And so begins the season of letting go,
when Mother Nature shows us all,
how it’s done.
Let go,
free yourself,
shake it off,
drop it,
give way for the new.
Create space for new thoughts, new ideas,
new adventures and new connections,
by shedding the dead weight you’ve been carrying around,
for so long.

And whilst you are there, being reborn and renewed,
let go of old anxieties too.
Let go of any doubts, fears or beliefs which no longer serve you well.
Release bitterness or past hurts which feast on your beauty.
Be brave,
Don’t fear the nakedness as your leaves slip away.
Mother Nature doesn’t,
watch and learn.

The rain poured as we gathered in circle to honour the Equinox last night.

We settled and soothed nervous systems with breathwork and meditation - and the rain poured.

We reflected on how balance plays out in our life and how we might recalibrate the scales - and the rain poured.

We sank into Sound to journey with frequency and rest and receive - and the rain poured.

Thank you to those who made time for themselves, to step away from the every day to align with natures ebb and flow.

THE LAND IS CALLING : DAY 3 ✨

Sundays don’t get better…

Basking in the rising sun’s rays as we practised QiGong with @cyclesofchange in the garden, setting the tone for a gentle day of enquiry, movement and rest.

After another delicious breakfast we gathered in the drawing room for a curious, insightful and powerful Hello Sexual Soul session with @davenly

@brunofurci guided a Feldenkrais session and there was labyrinth walking for those who hadn’t yet experienced this powerful portal of contemplation.

The sun shone and there was time to feel the springy grass under our feet and share deep meaningful conversation and heartfelt belly laughs. Quiet time with a book or knitting in front of the beautiful vista was savoured.

Our last (again delicious) lunch together was tinged with the impending closing of our time together. Indeed our closing ceremony was entirely suitable, with a few grateful tears and a crescendo of hilarity.

As bags were loaded into cars, the rain began to fall - the weather gods had truly taken care of us and were also sad to see our time draw to a close.

The circle remains unbroken.

The Land continues to Call and we gather again @nanpantanhall next May 15-18 for

DAY TWO : THE LAND IS CALLING ✨

Qi Gong with @cyclesofchange on the lawn at sunrise for those that felt the call… the autumnal light is so very beautiful and this gentle yet powerful practice set the tone for the day☀️

A relaxed breakfast was followed by the Power of the Yin workshop with @poweroftheyinoracle - a powerful practice in listening to our inner guidance and honouring the unseen. 🌀

Wrapped around lunch was time to play in the grounds, have a private treatment or take a walk to visit Harry and Melanie, the resident Tamworth pigs who LOVE a scratch, a brush and a massage ❤️ These incredible souls are such characters and brought so much joy… We may refer to this weekend as the pigfest rather than a retreat 🐖

@annamichalskaart joined us in the afternoon to help unleash the creative within. The goddesses that emerged that afternoon are majestic and tender 💕

A rest before dinner and our evening drumming circle with @berry_and_bloom around the fire pit under the harvest moon… New to many, this was such a powerful joining together in rhythm and voice. A chance to let go of the chattering mind and tune into the collective.

A remembering of something ancient and primal… the beat was resonating within me long after we’d retired to our beds…

So many ways to re-member we are so much
more than every day life would have you believe.

Held in communion with Morher Nature these ancient practices, merged with modern understanding, supported an unfolding of insight, release of what no longer serves and emergence of new ways of thinking and being.

Beyond our wildest dreams and expectations (which were already quite vast!) this co-creation with the group still blows my mind a week later…. and there’s was still another, perfect, Sunday to come…

THE LAND IS CALLING : DAY ONE ✨

One week ago today we opened the doors to the inaugural The Land is Calling weekend retreat.

For many it was the first time of being on retreat and there were nerves, excitement and curiosity as we gathered together to set the scene for an extraordinary three days of magic, wonder, laughter, tears and connection.

After settling into rooms and the hall with tea and cakes we gathered in circle to open the weekend.

With an age range between 34 and 84 there was so much wisdom and insight to share and inspire - our first afternoon whispered of the treasures to come…

After a beautiful dinner together we gathered in the drawing room for a welcoming sound immersion under the gaze of the waxing harvest moon.

The evening drew to a close with chats by the fireside before we drifted to our beds.

Saturday would bring so many unexpected delights and new experiences - check back tomorrow to see ✨ ...
