Here’s Iggy McB, born 8th September, a little earlier than mum and dad were expecting – on the night of the last HypnoBirthing class! Wonderful to hear that even having missed the last class they were still able to use the HypnoBirthing techniques and have the birth they worked for!

“Here are some pics from the big day. Already it seems like a lifetime ago! She’s only little 6lbs 5 oz, but we are totally in love with her, and spend much of our time just starring at her and sighing! Poor thing, lets hope we grow out of that by the time she’s old enough to talk back 😉

I feel that the affirmation CD helped me contract quite quickly, I think listening to it every night helped my body and during the labour I was playing it in the birthing room. Also, the breathing techniques were really good for me and I used them intensively for the first part of labour, up until I was about 8 centimetres, then I started to lose focus a bit…I think both the breathing techniques and the CD kept me calm for a very long way into my labour and helped shorten its length.

I think you did a fantastic job and I really liked your class and how supportive and reassuring you are and how well you explain everything.
