This affirmation came about when working with a second time mum privately whose first birth had been quite speedy and she was hoping for a little more time to sink into it and really enjoy her second child’s birth.

Relish is such a great word isn’t it….

re-liiiisssssh

it sounds like it should feel…

I recently saw Imelda Staunton on stage as the lustful, heartbroken, provocative, raucous, unstoppable Martha in ‘Who’s Afraid of Virgina Woolf’ and i just knew that she was relishing that role; languishing in it, savouring every last ounce of energy and second of being in it.

Let’s practice the art of sucking every last drop out of an experience today….

What will you make the time to relish today?

A glass of thirst quenching water after a workout?
a hot shower?
a delicious cup of coffee?
a hug you can sink into?
the warm sun on your skin?
the taste of chocolate melting on your tongue??

Turn a simple act into an act of satisfaction and see if you can’t do that on a more regular basis.
