I’ve been meaning to write for months to introduce you to our little Wren, born at 3am on 27 June (photo attached). I can’t believe she is already 14 weeks old. Time really does fly.

The birth went very well. Labour was short (6 hours), 3 of which were in the birthing pool at UCLH (9cm dilated when we went in – woop).  Not going to lie to you, it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done and I’m amazed I didn’t beg for ALL THE DRUGS but I’m so glad I didn’t in the end. So grateful for our hypnobirthing sessions, which really did empower me. Thanks Kat.
