Hi Hypno Team,

Here’s Reggie, our beautiful baby boy who decided to come last Tuesday. And we couldn’t have done it without Sunday nights with you wonderful lot.

When Amy woke up in the morning with what that seemed like the very early stages of labour, I started getting the living room prepared – bouncy ball, pillows, mood lighting and wondered where the hell I’d put the bloody bendy straws. Stay at home as long as possible, right? Before I had time to think about which playlist to put on, the surges came quickly and 2 hours later we were in the birthing pool at UCH and Reggie showed up.

She was absolutely amazing – big, long belly breaths throughout the surges and practiced ‘soft hands, soft jaw’ in-between with lots of strokes. Reggie was pretty underwhelmed by the whole thing and came out asleep and stayed sleeping until we came home later that day.

Can’t wait for you to meet him.
