Description

Begin the new year with space to pause.

January can arrive with a great deal of noise around resolutions, plans and becoming somehow ‘better’. This first Mountsorrel Sound Bath of 2027 offers something different: an opportunity simply to stop, settle and listen.

We meet in the deep quiet of winter, just two days before the first New Moon of the year — a natural moment to turn inward, notice what is here and gently consider what you might want to carry with you into the months ahead.

You’ll be guided into rest with breath and meditation before being immersed in layers of therapeutic sound from gongs, singing bowls, voice and other instruments.

There is nothing you need to achieve and no particular way you need to feel. Simply make yourself comfortable and allow yourself this time.

Whether you’re a regular sound bather or coming for the very first time, you’re warmly welcome.

What to Bring:

• A yoga mat, duvet, sleeping bag and soft blanket for comfortable reclining

• Cushions or bolsters to support your body as you sink into relaxation

• Warm socks or an extra throw blanket – your body temp drops when relaxed

• An eye pillow, and a water bottle to stay hydrated

Tuesday 5th January, 2027 : 8pm – 9.30pm
