August begins…

After a little time exploring Scotland, I’ve returned home with a full heart, a calmer mind, and a renewed appreciation for the healing power of taking time for yourself.

🌾 Welcome, Lammas. Welcome, Lughnasadh.

This weekend we arrive at the first harvest on the Wheel of the Year.

A gentle turning point. A moment to pause and notice what has grown before rushing on to the next thing.

This morning, as the sun rose over a harvested wheat field, the full moon still lingered high in the sky.

Night and day, endings and beginnings, held together for just a moment. A beautiful reminder that life moves in cycles, not straight lines.

Lammas invites us to gather our own harvest too.

Not only the things we’ve achieved, but the ways we’ve grown.

The courage we’ve found.

The healing we’ve allowed.

The relationships we’ve nurtured.

The lessons we’ve learned.

Before asking, What’s next?, perhaps ask yourself:

What has come to fruition in my life that deserves to be acknowledged?

Take a moment this weekend to pause, breathe, and receive your harvest with gratitude.

There is wisdom in recognising how far you’ve come.

“What exactly is Acu-Gong?”

It’s one of my favourite collaborations because it brings together two incredibly complementary therapies.

In this short clip from a recent podcast, I explain how Carolyn from @cyclesofchange and I combine Acupuncture with a live sound journey to create a deeply restorative experience.

As the Acupuncture helps settle the nervous system and support the body’s own healing processes, the immersive sounds of gongs, singing bowls and other therapeutic instruments invite you into a profoundly relaxed state where body and mind can soften, rest and receive.

Many people tell us they leave feeling calmer, lighter, deeply rested and more connected to themselves.

It’s always a privilege to witness.

Our next Acu-Gong experience takes place on Friday 11th September in Thrussington, and spaces are intentionally limited so that everyone receives a bespoke acupuncture treatment.

A moment to step away from the noise. A moment to breathe. A moment to listen — not just to the sounds around you, but to the quiet wisdom within.

The Full Moon invites reflection and release… a chance to honour how far we’ve come, let go of what feels heavy, and create space for what wants to emerge.

Through the vibrations of gongs, singing bowls, chimes and therapeutic sound, we’ll journey into deep relaxation, stillness and restoration.
