I used to wear my grandmothers ring to anchor her intuition when I attended births. Celebrating the journey of pregnancy and birth with a mala is a part of traditional mothers blessing ceremony (something we’ll be incorporating in our pregnancy retreat at @thewellgarden next month) and a wonderful way of cultivating energy as focus. This is so beautiful @oldsouladornment 💕🙏

Something different! Custom moonstone and rudraksha seed mala for my sister, @gypsyandbloom – celebrating divine female energy and the sacred transitional journey through birthing and motherhood. Not only this but she is to be married later next year so for this I used a natural organic cotton tassel to symbolise pure love and the light of the heart! There is a technique to help the mind work through the waves of birthing called #hypnobirthing which really is just a form of deep meditation, the mala can be used as a point of focus in this time and help to guide the breathe! I will soon be sharing a larger 8mm version of this for extra ease of use! Get in touch for custom mala!
